He was also fined VND10 million ($470).

LAM DONG — Hundreds of local residents have asked authorities in the resort city of Da Lat to chop down the pine trees that line the streets to avoid the risk of them falling during heavy rains and storms.
According to Da Lat's Urban Construction Company, about 70 trees in the Central Highland city should be cut down.
